The Study Of The Effect Of Tongxinluo On The Atherosclerosis In Patients With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus By Color Doppler Flow Imaging

Objective:To observe Tonxinluo affecting the activity of Arteriosclerosis of patients with type 2 diabetic mellitus(2DM) by using the color Doppler imaging,discuss the law of the occurrence,development and degrade of Atherosclerotic plaque.Find a kind of TCM drug in preventing and treating artery disease in type 2 diabetes mellitusMethods:50 patients with 2DM and Arteriosclerosis were randomized to Tonxinluo Capsule treatment group(A) and routine treatment group(B),and 20 normal controls (C) group were also included in this study.The values of artery intimal-media thickness(IMT),the size of plaque,systolic velocity(S),diastolic velocity(D), resistance index(RI) and pulsatility index(PI) were measured with CDFI before and after treatment respectively.Blood glucose,lipid profile were also compared between the three groupsResults:After 16 weeks in Tonxinluo Capsule treatment group,TG,TC,LDL-C are significantly lower than before(P＜0.05),HDL-C is significantly higher than before (P＜0.05).D-value of TG,TC,LDL-C.HDL-C after treatment and before in A group are significantly changed compared with B and C groups(P＜0.05).The values of artery intimal-media thick-ness(IMT) and the size of plaque of common carotid artery in group A are significantly decreased than treated before(P＜0.05),D-value of the size of plaque of common carotid artery after treatment and before in group A are significantly changed compared with group B(P＜0.05),D-value of IMT are significantly changed compared with group B and group C(P＜0.05.P＜0.05).After 16 weeks in group A,S.D.PI are significantly increase in different degree,while RI is significantly decrease than treated before(P＜0.05,P＜0.05,P＜0.05,P＜0.05).The values of PI,S,D,RI have no significantly changed(P＞0.05) in group B and group C.Conclusions:After intervened by Tongxinluo Capsule.the lipid profile,the size of plaque,the values of IMT and the arterial index of B-mode ultrasound were significantly improved in the patients with 2DM and Arteriosclerosis.It indicate that Tongxinluo Capsule can stable artery plaque and reverse the change of artery,it can also improve the blood flow index of the common carotid artery especially the lower little blood vessel measured by ultrasound.So that.Tongxinluo Capsale is conside(?)ed as an effective Chinese traditional patent medicine for using to prevent the coefficient of coincidence in Arteriosclerosis with 2DM.
