Obejective:We analyzed the risk factors relative to MS and/or stroke,on the basis of which we further investigated the pathogenesis and syndrome rules of stroke caused by MS,in order to provide a new way of prevention and treatment of stroke.Method:We collected the clinical information of MS and/or stroke patients, used statistical methods such as t-test, chi-square analysis and Logistic regression etc. to analyze the relative risk factors, symptoms, physical signs and syndromes, primarily explored the pathogenesis and syndrome rules with referrance to TCM theories.Result:1.aging, gender, diet hobby, smoking, drinking, mental tention, irritability, less sport exercise, snoring, as well as congenital disposition and life style etc. are risk factors which can promote the formation of phlegm-heat syndrome;2.MS patients would develop to stroke earlier than those without MS on average;3.Of the ms and stroke patients,phlegm-heat syndrome is a major syndrome.Conclusion:(1)Phlegm-heat is a significant pathogenic factor of MS and stroke, while phlegm-heat-induced wind is the key pathogenesis of stroke.(2)As the major syndrome of stroke,phlegm-heat syndrome often turns into phlegm-stagnation in collaterals, stirring of wind due to deficiency of YIN and qi-deficiency and blood-stasis syndromes.(3)People with the constitution of phlegm-heat are susceptible to MS and stroke, especially to stroke at an earlier age. On the whole,as clinical doctors we should pay attention to MS onset and the risk factors of phlegm-heat,in order to interfere in the course in time, which plays an important role in prevention the onset and relapse of stroke...
