Objective: To investigate the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment for multiple myeloma clinical efficacy. Methods: 40 cases of multiple myeloma patients were randomly divided into two groups, one group of 20 cases, to consolidate Zishen Qingyu recipe plus chemotherapy, the control group of 20 cases, to chemotherapy alone. Before and after treatment were observed in patients with the clinical symptoms, quality of life, the proportion of cancer cells, immune globulin, erythrocyte sedimentation rate,β2-microglobulin, as changes in the peripheral blood toxicity and the emergence of the situation. Results: The combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment can significantly improve symptoms, improve quality of life, reduce the side effects of chemotherapy, reducing infection rates, effective than chemotherapy alone group. Conclusion: Integrated Treatment of multiple myeloma with the exact effect, but the result of the short time period for survival and the rate of recurrence of the situation, awaiting further observation research.
