This thesis probes into treatment principle of the syndromes of heart palpitation by means of combination of literature collection and study and statistical analysis, re-examines the Chinese medicine's understanding of pathogenesis and treatment schemes, looks for the combinations of symptom and medicine which play major roles in deciding how to treat according to the result of syndrome-differentiation and combined treatment prescriptions. The full text of this thesis is divided into three parts:The first part is literature research. In this part, it collects and compiles ancient literatures by using the method of philology. From the perspective of historical development, it makes a comprehensive review and summary of the comments on palpitation by doctors in past dynasties. The second part is the data analysis of medical cases. It conducts systematic compiling of the medical records and clinical reports of 839 cases on palpitation from the literatures, sets up the database of symptoms and prescriptions related with the treatment of palpitation in both ancient and modern time. It also makes mathematical statistics analysis like frequencies, factors, clustering etc. using SAS System for Windows V9.1 statistical software, sums up high-frequency symptoms and medicines, analyzes the type of syndrome, causes, pathogenesis, medication characteristics and principles. In the third part, this thesis further probes into the inherent link between each basic symptom type of palpitation according to clustering analysis results of high-frequency symptoms in the medical cases. It also further explores the inherent link between each basic treatment method of palpation according to clustering analysis results of high-frequency medicines in the medical cases. It points out that the treatment of palpitation should be combined with its pathogenesis and functional characteristics of all viscera, and comprehensively considered on the basis of determination according to weak, stasis, phlegm, water and heat. It studies the main treatment of palpitation by the theory of five internal organs on the basis of distribution of the medicines as well as high frequency medicines in the medical cases.Based on ancient and modern literature research, this thesis comprehensively analyzes the treatment principle of palpitation using the methods combined literature research with statistical analysis, with a view to provide valuable materials and basis for clinical research. It also tries to input new energy, explore new thoughts for literature philology, combine history and reality, literature and practice, seek origins and sources and make ancient things serve our present day needs. |
