| Objiective: Through exploring the expressions of ADM (Adrenomedullin) and CGRP(calciton in gene related peptide) in the human adenohypophysis and pituitary adenoma,To investigate the location or relationship between ADM,CGRP,nontumoral adenohypophysis and the invasiveness of pituitary adenoma, as well as offers theoretical and experimental evidence for studying normal anterior pituitary and invasive adenomaMethods: The protein expression of ADM and CGRP were examined by immunohistochemical SABC method in 42 pituitary adenoma, including the invasive and noninvasive, and 9 nontumoral adenohypophysis.The multifunction true chromatic colour pathological analytical system(provided by The Aviation Spaceflight University Picture Pattern Centre in Bei Jing )was used to evaluate the expression levels of the ADM and CGRP, record the value of MOD in all specimens by it。Results: Expression of ADM and CGRP were found in in all specimens (nontumoral adenohypophysis, invasive and noninvasive pituitary adenomas). The expression level of ADM and CGRP increased obviously in invasive pituiary adenomas accompany with nontumal adenohypophysis and noninvasive pituitary adesinoma (P<0.05 ) . Almost each group was significantly different (P<0.05) . but there is no significant different between subgroups of invasive pituitary adenoma. The expression of ADM was significantly positive correlated with CGRP. (Pearson, r=0.536, P<0.01)Conclusions:1. The expression of ADM and CGRP is presented in all specimens, including nontumal adenohypophysis and pituitary adenoma, therefore increased obviously in invasive pituiary adenomas accompany with nontumal adenohypophysis and noninvasive pituitary adesinoma, as well as may contribute to invasive of pituitary adenoma.2. There is significant positive correlation between the expression of ADM and CGRP in nontumal adenohypophysis and pituitary adenoma, they have significance to evaluate the systematic of histology and histopathology of nomal anterior pituitary and pituitary adenoma, and can provide basis for instituting reasonable therapy scheme, judgging prognosis and assessing curative effect in clinic. |
