| [Objective]The aim is to understand adult hypertension prevalence rate and the current status of the related risk factors, analyse the related risk factors' impact on hypertension in ethnic minorities (Bai) of Yunnan Dali, to provid a useful epidemiological information for the monitor, control and treatment of hypertensive disease in the region.The another aim is to understand basic information of AT2 receptor gene single nucleotide polymorphism (SNPs) in Yunnan minorities (Bai), as well as provide the useful molecular genetics information between different genotype and cardiovascular drug sensitivity and the relationship of AT2 genotype and cardiovascular disease in future research.[Methods]Some minority (Bai) natives of Yunnan Dali were gathered for the test object. These subjects will be divided into hypertension group and non-hypertension group, hypertension group patients included essential hypertension. a total of 672 cases, including 358 cases of male, 314 cases of female; non-hypertension group was admitted no previous history of hypertension, there are 967 cases of male, 917 cases of women, the total number of 1884 cases. The crowd survey were conducted epidemiological investigations and related indicator inspections, data was used SPSS13.0 software for statistical analysis.Some subjects (a total of 178 cases, 59 cases male, female 119 cases) was draw off venous whole blood, using traditional phenol / chloroform to extract the genomic DNA for preservation reserve. At the same time, this part of the subjects were carried out blood tests, including serum total cholesterol, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein and fasting blood glucose. AT2 gene coding sequence was amplified by PCR method, analysed through on-line analytical software BlASTn.[Results]The prevalence of hypertension was 26.3%, 27.0% for males, 25.5% for females in Yunnan minorities (Bai), both male and female prevalence rate increased with age and growth. there is no significant difference to hypertension prevalence rate in gender crowd. Age, excessive drinking, smoking, body mass index and blood lipid abnormalities are major factors to the incidence of hypertension.In addition, the two SNP (H231Y, E188Stop) were found in AT2 receptor gene of Yunnan minorities (Bai), SNP (E188Stop) in the study was found first. This two SNP allele frequencies were T 98.33%, C 0.67%å’ŒG 99.66%, T 0.34%.[Conclusion]There is a higher prevalence of hypertension in minority(Bai) of Yunnan Dali, smoking, overweight, obesity and dyslipidemia are closely related to hypertension, a variety of effective interventions should be done to control and reduce the hypertension prevalence and the endanger to the health of the population.This is the first report about genotype frequencies of the H231Y, E188Stop in Yunnan Dali minority(Bai). The outcome of these studies will provide molecular genetics information for further study on AT2 genotype / phenotype. |
