| Purpose This research is to investigate the change of Adiponecin level in patients with MS,and its relation with the components of MS.Methods Based on standards of International Diabetes Federation in 2005,74 MS patients were selected as MS group,and 20 healthy subjects as control group.After measured the heigth,weight and waist circumference,the fasting blood of MS group and control goup were collected and the fasting levels of Glucose,Insulin,Adiponectin and were determined.The Adiponectin was measured with Enzyme-linked Immunoassay(EIA).The HOMA-IR was calculated based on FBG and FINS with the minimal model.Choosed 19 of MS group and 3 of healthy control goup perform hyperinsulinemic-euglycemic clamp and calculate glucose metabolic rate(M).The statistical data were analyzed by SPSS 13.0 software.Resultsâ‘ The BMI,Waist,FBG,FINS,SBP,DBP,TC,TG,LDL-C,HOMA-IR levels of MS group were higher significantly than healthy control group.The HDL-C,Adiponectin was lower significantly than healthy control group.â‘¡There was positive correlation among Adiponectin,HDL-C and M, but it was negatively correlated with BMI,Waist,FBG,FINS,HOMA-IR,SBP,DBP,TG,LDL-C in these MS patients.â‘¢Respectively to divide into groups by the components of MS,with each group and the healthy control group (in addition to BP group)HOMA-IR,Adiponectin was significantly different. Conclusionsâ‘ Patients with Metabolic Syndrome fasting serum Adiponectin levels were significantly decreased,and positively correlated with the insulin sensitivity of tissues.â‘¡There are significant correlation among Adiponectin and the components of Metabolic Syndrome.FBG,Waist,HDL-C,HOMA-IR are the main factors of plasma Adiponectin levels. |
