Objective:To analyze the incidence of cytomegalovirus(CMV)infection and interstitial pneumonia(IP)after allogenetic stem cell transplantation and their prognosis. Methods:From Jan 2006 to Dec 2007, 90 patients were treated with allogenetic stem cell transplantation.Among them,58 patients were male,32 patients were female. The conditioning regimen was myeloablative in 71 patients and was nonmyeloablative in the other 19 patients. The combination of foscarnet and ganciclovir was used to prevent cytomegalovirus infection and interstitial pneumonia before transplanation.Results:60 patients(66.67%)were infected with CMV after transplantation, the median time of infection was 26 days. The CMV infection was cleared after the treatment by ganciclovir.Interstitial pneumonia was discovered in 11 patients(12.22%),CMV antigen was normal in 3 of them,8 patients were diagnosed as CMV-IP.In the CMV-IP group, 3 patients discharged before recovered, while the other 5 recovered.Among the other 3 IP patients,2 patients discharge,1 patients recovered. Conclusion:Interstitial pneumonia(IP)is one of the most sever complication after allogenetic stem cell transplantation.CMV-IP is the major type, and usually combined with fungal, bacterium or other infections. The other IP whose CMV antigen were normal,LONIPCs (late-onset noninfectious pulmonary complications)maybe one of manin reason for the bad prognosis.
