Clinical Observation On Puncturing Mainly Back-shu Points For Treating Ischemic Apoplexy Of Blood-stasis Blocking Collateral Type

Objective:To observe the different curative effects between puncturing mainly Back-Shu Points and puncturing routine points for ischemic apoplexy(the type of obstruction of collaterals by blood stasis.Methods:The study is based on the diagnosis criterion which was instituted by the national TCM administration in 1995,we have seleceted suitable cases from the number two TCM hospital of guang dong province.120 patients with ischemic apoplexy(the type of obstruction of collaterals by blood stasis)were divided randomly into 3 groups in the way of blind controlled clinical trial:the group of Back-Shu Points(Group A),the control group of routine points(Group B),and the non-puncture group(Group C),40 cases per group. Practicing rehabilitation training and ginkgo leaf injection(vd)in each group,we punctured Feishu(UB13),Xinshu(UB15),Geshu(UB17),Ganshu(UB18),Danshu(UB19), Pishu(UB20),Weishu(UB21),Waiguan(SJ5),Houxi(SI3),Zusanli(ST36), Xuanzhong(GB39)in Group A;Jianyu(LI15),Binao(LI14),Quchi(LI11), Shousanli(LI10),Waiguan(SJ5),Hegu(LI4),Fengshi(GB31),Futu(ST32), Yanglingquan(GB34),Xuanzhong(GB39),Taichong(LR3)in Group B;no puncture in Group C.The course of the treatment lasted for four weeks.We observed the three groups for the integrates of TCM symptom,the level of neurologic impairment,the abilities to the activities of daily living,and the changes of haemorheology before and after the treatment.Result:Improvements could be found in all the observed indexes after the treatment. Compared with the other groups,in Group A the effect of TCM symptom,the total effective rate of the level of neurologic impairment,the discrepancy made significant or highly significant sense(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).The integrates of TCM symptom,the degrade of the level of neurologic impairment,the increase of the score of Barthel index number,and the amelioration of the haemorheology made significant or highly significant sense(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01)Conclusion:Puncturing Back-Shu Points mainly can significantly amend the apoplexy symptom and improve the patient's quality of life,and the effect is superior to that of puncturing the routine points and the non-puncture one.As a result,this method is worth advocating.
