| Objective: To estimate the effects and safety of cheir-funct orthosis to matching morning functional exercise and using guxi-2 prescription to fumigate-wash in Treating adhesion of Flexor tendon.Methods: To apply randomized controlled trial. From August 2007 to March 2008, according to the diagnosis,inclucive and exclucive standard 37 postop patients with Flexor tendon injury were selected. In experimental group(EG) 19 patients were treated by cheir-funct orthosis to matching morning Active and passive functional exercise and using guxi-2 prescription to fumigate-wash in Treating adhesion of Flexor tendon, while in control group(CG) the other 18 patients were treated by functional exercise and using conventional Chinese medicine to fumigate-wash after 4 weeks that were fixed by plaster slab. The treatment was 12weeks in all, one course of treatment are 4 weeks. Adopt total active movement (TAM) evaluation system which is recommended by American Society of Surgery of the Hand(ASSH). The TAM of the 2 groups were estimate d and contrasted at the end of 4th, 8th and 12th week.Results: At the end of 4th week EG' s TAM were 136.29±4.43, CG' s TAM were 84.09±4.75. At the end of 8th week EG' s TAM were 199.86±5.88, CG' s TAM were 156.06±9.33. At the end of 12th week EG' s TAM were 234.00±10.90, CG' s TAM were 208. 79±10.16. EG' s TAM gained an advantage with CG' s. The fineness rate of EG is 100%, and that of CG is 81.82%. The discrepancy of datas between the two groups was conspicuous by t test. 2 patients in EG and 1 patient in CG emerged drug eruption, Itch of skin and exited the experiment, The remaining patients didn' t emerged any adverse effect yet.Conclusion: cheir-funct orthosis to matching morning functional exercise and using guxi-2 prescription to fumigate-wash has great safety factor, can relieve the adhesion of Flexor tendon remarkably. |
