Biodegradable coating with excellent biocompatibility and hemocomopatibility which could be embeded in organism has attracted worldwide interests. Phosphorycholine (PC) based materials endow with themselves good biocompatibility and hemocomopatibility, but the conventional synthetic methods are very difficult when implementing. The"Two steps"method is easy in practice but has difficulties in separation and refinement. Polymers containing PEG group often conbine with others act as coating materials and Poly (L-lactic acid) (PLLA) is biodegradable and biocompatible polyester. There is few publications addressed the coating materials involving PLLA group and PC group or PLLA group and PEG group. Considering these, this paper synthesized two kinds of biodegradable coating materials which employ PC and PEG group, and compared their properties. This paper began with synthesis of PLLA with functional end-group, and further polymerization reation PLLA-POEM-BMA containing PEG group were obtained. MPC containing PC was synthesized successfully by"Two steps", and PLLA-MPC-BMA copolymers were carried out by radical polymerization. 1H-NMR and FT-IR were used to study structures of copolymers, and their other properties were investigated with the aid of contact angle, UV-visible light spectrophotometer, SEM, and DSC etc. At last, we compared PLLA-POEM-BMA and PLLA-MPC-BMA.The results showed PLLA with double bond end group can be synthesized with HEMA and Sn(oct)2 as catalyst. The polymers composition and molecular weight can be controlled by feed ratio. The chemical structure of MPC, PLLA-POEM-BMA and PLLA-MPC-BMA were successfully confirmed by FT-IR and 1H-NMR respectively. The composition of copolymers are coincide with monomer feed ratio, which indicated that composition can be controlled by feeding. By measuring contact angle find that the degree of PLLA-POEM-BMA is lower than PLLA-MPC-BMA, namely hydrophilic properties of the latter copolymer system much better; After different adsorption time(8h and 24h), the amounts of protein adsorption of PLLA-MPC-BMA is fewer than PLLA-POEM-BMA, which indicate anti protein adsorption of former is better than latter.
