| Objective:By Describing and Analyzing the level of physical development and Common diseases of young people aged 7～18 In Hunan Province from 2000 to 2005,To Discuss the Physical development and the possible existence of the problem of young people in Hunan Province, and Provide the basis for youth training and health education in Hunan Province.Method:The topic makes use of the data,information and methods from Physical and Health research project of National students in 2000 and 2005 years,It Makes the young people aged 7 to 18 in Hunan Province as the object of study,and electes 14,588 students.Finally,to Establish a database by SPSS13.0 to make description of the statistical analysis,the two independent samples t-test,chi-square test and rank correlation analysis.Results:Compared with 2000,the physical development of Hunan young people aged 7-18 in 2005 was as follows:1)The level of growth of Body Shape has been more or less improved,However,the Growth rate gradually become smaller with the age increased(P＜0.05);The urban and rural areas have a significant difference(P＜0.05).In the order of city men,rural men,city women, rural women,the range of Standing Growth rate in all age groups is: 0.47%～3.53%,0.55%～3.01%,0.15%～1.88%,0.01%～3.60%;the range of WeightGrowth rate in all age groups is:0.80%～12.90%,1.30%～10.00%,-0.32%～4.97%,-0.53%～9.60%;the range of Bust Growth rate in all age groups is:0.89%～7.01%,0.23%～4.41%,-0.63%～4.68%,-0.48%～5.24%;the range of Growth rate of Weierweike index in all age groups is:-0.07%～4.40%,0.05%～3.62%,-0.21%～2.72%,-0.03%～3.96%.2)The level of growth of Bodily functions are Lower than before, the urban and rural areas have a significant difference(P＜0.05).In the order of city men,rural men,city women,rural women,The range of the FVC
