The Expression Of Id-1,HIF-1α In Gastric Cancer And Their Relationship With Tumor Angiogenesis | Posted on:2009-05-17 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:H L Wang | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2144360245481392 | Subject:Surgery | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Purpose To study the expression of Id-1 and HIF-1αin gastric cancer and their relationship with tumor angiogenesis,clinicopathologice featureMethods The expression of Id-1 and HIF-1αin 55 cases of gastric cancer were detected by tissuemicroarray and SP immunohistochemistry.The microvessel density(MVD)marked by CD105 was also detected.The relationship between the expression of Id-1,HIF-1αand tumor angiogenesis,clinicopathologic feature of patients was then analyzed.15 cases of normal gastric tissue were selected as contrast group.Results:The MVD of gastric cancer(28.46±7.28)was significantly higher than that of normal gastricl tissue(7.31±2.24),P<0.01.The MVD of gastric cancer was significantly correlated with TNM stage,invasive depth and differentiated degree lymph-node metastasis,P<0.05.The positive expression rate Id-1 in gastric cancers(61.8%)was remarkably higher than that normal gastric tissues(20.0%),P=0.004.In gastric cancer,the expression of Id-1 was remarkably associated with TNM stage,differentiated degree, invasive depth and lymph-node metastasis,p<0.05.The MVD of the Id-1 positive expression group(32.19±5.74)was significantly higher then that of the negative expression group(22.85±5.56),p<0.05.The Positive expression rate of HIF-1αin gastric cancers(56.4%)was significantly higher than that in normal gastric tissues(26.7%),P<0.05.In gastric cancer the expression of HIF-1 was significantly correlated with TNM stage, invasive depth lymph-node metastasis and tumor size,p<0.05.The MVD of the positive HIF-1αexpression group(31.90±6.62)was significantly higher than that of the negative expression group(24.11±5.54)p<0.05.In the cases of gastric cancer,the MVD of both HIF-1αand Id-1 positively expressed group,one of them positively expressed group,both of them negatively expressed group were 33.40±5.93,27.26±4.57,21.80±5.21 respectively,P<0.05:There was a positive correlation between expression of Id-land HIF-1α,Y=0.590,P.<0.05Conclusions 1.The over expression of Id-1 and HIF-1αin gastric cancer shave a significant relation with tumor angiogenesis.2.Id-1,HIF-1αand MVD are significantly correlated with TNM stage,invasive depth and lymph-node metastasis differentiated degree of gastric cancer.Their over expression may lead to advanced invasion of gastric cancer and unfavorable prognosis.3 Id-1 and HIF-1αmay have play a corporative action in gastric cancer,their simultaneous expression may lead to tumor angiogenesis increasing greatly,cancer invading and metastasizing easily.4 The combinative detection of Id-1 and HF-1αin gastric cancer have the positive significance of the judgement of malignant phenotype and prognosis,and guide to the clinical treatment. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Id-1, HIF-1α, gastric cancer MVD, CD105, Immunohistoehemistiy, tissuemicroarray | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
