| Objective: To evaluate the role of carotid sinus nerve block in prevention and treatment of hemodynamics instability in interventional therapy.Method: To set up the animal model of half carotid stenosis by chemistry drug injury after two weeks cholesterol-fed in 22 Newland rabbits. Two rabbits were randomly selected and putted to death after setted up the animal model three weeks. Then we take out of the carotid artery cut sheet and observe the section using microscope to test if the animal model of half carotid stenosis is successful. Then the rest experimental rabbits were randomly divided into two groups, one group(group1) of experimental rabbits, carotid sinus nerves were infiltrated by normalsaline(NS), and the other group(group2) of experimental rabbits, carotid sinus were blocked by lidocain, then the carotid sinus was stimulated repeatedly by stretching the common carotid artery(CCA), and contrasted the change of BP.Results:(1) Animal modelThe animal model of carotid stenosis by chemistry drug injury was setted up successfully. Observing the HE dying section: the normal carotid endarterium is smooth and glossy, the surface of interior elastic membrane only cover one layer of endotheliocyte and a little of connective tissue. The chemistry drug injuried carotid endarterium thickens obviously, the tunica media smooth muscle thickens lightly, the interior elastic membrane break, the lumina of carotid is narrow.(2) Blood pressure changeAfter the carotid sinus was stimulated repeatedly by stretching the common carotid artery(CCA), BP had no significant change in group2, but BP change obviously in group1.Conclusion: Carotid sinus nerve block has reliable preventional and therapeutic role on hemodynamics instability caused by carotid sinus stimulation. Carotid sinus nerve block may became a convenient effective and safe method which can prevent and cure the hemodynamics instability in interventional therapy. |
