| ObjectsThe growth and metastasis of solid tumor depend on formation of neovascular in tumor tissue.The neovascular needs regulation of muliagency.Among these,the most important one is VEGF(vascularendothelial growth factor).In the study,we plan to study the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and microvessel density(MVD)in laryngeal carcinoma and laryngopharynx carcinoma. Methods21 cases of Laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma,21 cases of laryngopharynx carcinoma,10 were included in this study.Usingimmunohistochemistry method, the expression of VEGF and CD34 were detected.Results1.The positive rate of VEGF and MVD were 77.78%,66.67%,43.04±12.31,28.94±10.64,respectively in laryngeal carcinoma.The difference is significant(P<0.05).2.The positive rate of VEGF and MVD were 69.23%,25%,41.58±12.30,24.29±5.141in largngeal carcinoma with and without lymphoidmetastasis.The difference is significant(P<0.05)3.The positive rate of VEGF wwere 50%,54.55%,respectively in group ofâ… Â±â…¡stages andⅢ±Ⅳstages.The difference is unsignificant(P>0.05).But,MVD were 27.97±8.982,41.36±13.46,respectively in group ofâ… Â±â…¡stages andⅢ±Ⅳstages.The difference is significant(P<0.05).4.The positive rate of VEGF and MVD were 50%,55.56%,50%,36.34±16.48, 34.92±9.037,28.5±16.73,respectively in group of pathological differentiation.The difference is unsignificant(P>0.05).5.The positive rate of VEGF and MVD were 81.82%,30%,45.27±13.04,30.03 ±8.038 in laryngopharynx carcinoma with and without lymphoidmetastasis.The difference is significant(P<0.05).6.There were no significantly difference in clinical stage,site,pathological differentiation of laryngopharynx carcinoma.7.MVD were in laryngeal carcinoma,laryngopharynx carcinoma and normal humane. The difference is significant(P<0.05).ConclusionsAngiogenesis was located in laryngeal carcinoma ahd laryngopharynx carcinoma. VEGF can promote angiogenesis in laryngealcarcinoma and laryngopharynx carcinoma,may play a very important role in invasion and metastasis oflaryngeal carcinoma.The positive rate of VEGF and MVD was higher with and without lymphoidmetastasis in largngeal carcinoma than in laryngopharynx carcinoma.MVD was higher in largngeal carcinoma than in laryngopharynx carcinoma than in normal humane.It was suggested that MVD may be one of prognostic indicyors of largngeal carcinoma and laryngopharynx carcinoma. |
