A Study On The Relationship Between Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease And Extra Meridian

Objective:Study the relationship between chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and extra meridian,to elucidate the importance of extra meridian of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,to provide objective evident of extra treatment.Method:422 correlative ill cases were collected from the medical records in the record room with the patients' clinical symptoms,signs and related laborat -ory results and all the collected data were saved and managed by certain data Base software.The cases were divided into five groups:Qi Deficiency Syndrome, Yin Asthenia Syndrome,Yang Asthenia Syndrome,Phlegm Syndrome,Blood Stasis Syndrome.The data were underwent statistical analysis to investigate the relationshlp among every group and the grade of clinical severity,the grade of gasp severity,pulmonary function(VC,FEV1,MVV,RV,MMEF),type-B ultrasonic of liver(hepatauxe),sternite(AP/T).Results:1.Gasp severity was higher following damaging of Blood Stasis Syndrome.2.The results showed that pulmonary function,FEV1 and MVV in patients with Blood Stasis Syndrome were significantly lower than other Syndrome.It was lower following damaging of Blood Stasis Syndrome.RV in patients with Blood Stasis Syndrome were significantly higher than other Syndrome.It was higher following damaging of Blood Stasis Syndrome.VC in patients with Blood Stasis Syndrome significantly lower than other Syndrome.3.The results showed that type-B ultrasonic of liver,incidence of liver increment in patients with Blood Stasis Syndrome were significantly higher than other Syndrome.It was higher following damaging of Blood Stasis Syndrome.4.The results showed that sternite,AP/T in patients with Blood Stasis Syndrome were significantly higher than other Syndrome.It was higher following damaging of Blood Stasis Syndrome. Conclusion:The relationship between chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and extra meridian was extraordinary close,especially Blood Stasis Syndrome. The patients with Blood Stasis Syndrome were easily developed to extra meridian lesion.Extra meridian lesion was extremely serious stage of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.We should take extra meridian theatment seriously in later stage of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease development, especially When curing futility according to traditional Chinese medicine theatment generally.
