| Backgroud:Radix Notoginseng is the dry root of Panax notoginseng (Burk.) F.H.Chen. It belongs to the Araliaceae family plant and is luxurious traditional Chinese herbal medicines. The modern chemistry and pharmacology learns to find that the main avtive ingredient of Radix Notoginseng is panax notoginseng saponin(PNS), which can inhibit thromboxane formation, extend the peripheral blood vessel, reduce blood pressure and has a notable effect in the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases treatment. Respectively, in the blood system, cardiovascular system, nervous system, metabolism, as well as anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor and other aspects have a better activity.Aim:The rats' acute post-myocardial infarction(AMI) model was set up with ligation of left anterior descending coronary artery. Our research can observe the effect of improving the cardiac function in rats with AMI-LVRM.Methods:By ligation of left anterior descending coronary artery, building rat model of AMI, after 24 hours of postoperative, the rats were randomly divided into control and experimental groups, then respectively gavaged NS and the low,middle ane high dosage of PNS for four consecutive weeks. Examining the cardiac function of the rat with color doppler ultrasound, our research can investigate the protective effects of acute myocardial ischemia to PNS though the effects of PNS to myocardial morphology and hemodynamics of the rat. It also can provide experimental basis in expanding the clinic use of PNS.Results and Conclusion:In the "Effects of Panax Notoginsenoside on potentiating antioxidation and improving myocardial morphology with post-myocardial infarction-ventricular remodeling in rats" , PNS and Fosinopril can be significantly improved pathological changes and cardiac index of left ventricular cardiac myocytes' morphology rats, the biochemistry index MDA, CRP, CK-MB, cTn-I are all significantly reduced, the activity of GSH-Px significantly enhanced, the high-dose PNS group can decrease NO. The result shows that, through inhibiting lipid peroxidation, PNS can reduce pathological injury of the mice cardiac myocytes, enhance the antioxidance, inhibit cardiac hypertrophy and improve ventricular remodeling,morphological structure of cardiac myocytes in AMI-LVRM rats.In the "Effects of Panax Notoginsenoside on hemodynamics with post-myocardial infarction-ventricular remodeling in rats" , PNS can be significantly improved mice LVSP.CF, VPM,±dp/dtmax, LVEDP and LVPP can be significantly reduced. The result shows that, through increasing the disease rats' coronary blood flow, and improving the compliance of ventricular wall, PNS can significantly improve systolic and diastolic function in AMI-LVRM.In the "Panax Notoginsenoside Improves Cardiac Function with post-Myocardial Infarction-Ventricular Remodeling in Rats" , EF,FS and MV can be significantly improved by PNS in middle and high dosage group. The result shows that, treatment with PNS post AMI-LVRM enhanced left ventricular systolic and diastolic function, decreased peripheral resistance, PNS can improve the cardiac function of AMI-LVRM. |
