Objective:1. To investigate the morbility of cervical sub-healthy of college student.2. To analysis the risk factors and to supply evidence for cervical health education of college student.Methods:1. By means of studing literature and expert conseling to design the Questionnaire. The Questionnaire includes two parts. The First part are questions about the symptoms of cervical spondylosis. The second part are questions about the life habits and the latent possibility risk factors.2. From January, 2007 to December, 2007 we invstigated 5 undergraduate classes and 2 graduate classes by means of lot from the all presence student of Guang Zhou University of TCM. There are 514 student investigated in all and 502 valid questionnaires are reclaimed. There are 216 males and 286 females, the youngest is 18 years old and the oldest is 26 years old, the mean age is 21±2.3 years old.3. Diagnostic Code:Obviously have one or more of the symptoms of cervical spondylosis, that have bad effect on the study or work efficiency. But there have no organum pathological changes and by means of resting can recoved without remain any residual.4. To establish SPSS date bank with all the investigated information. And the date are analyzed by softeware SPSS13. 0. First to anlyse the symptoms of cervical spondylosis between the health group and the cervical sub-health group by Rank Sum Test. And then analyse the latent possibility risk factors by Logistic Test. Last also use the Rank Sum Test to analyse the latent possibility risk factors between the health group and the cervical sub-health group.Results:1. There are 234 students in the condition of cervical sub-healty in all the 502 students. So the morbidity rate is 46. 61%, 44.91% in male and 47.90% in female.2. In all the 502 students there are 72.9% students have some neck and shoulder pain, 89.2% students have some headache sometimes, 86.1% students' s neck and shouder are easily be tired sometimes. 53. 0% students have aneasthesia of upper limb sometimes, 52.2% students have some dizziness sometimes, 52. 2% students have some panicky or nausea sometimes, 8% students consider limbs are not very agility, 53.8% students have some cervical snap.2. There are no one have serious limb atony, and 7.17% students regurarity have aneasthesia and radiating pain of upper limb, 8. 37% students regurarity have some headache, 11.95% students regurarity have some neck-shoulder pain, 19.94% students' s neck and shouder are easily be tired, but there have 24. 31% students regurarity have dizziness and closely related wite the activity of the neck, 24. 31% students regurarity have panicky or nausea .3. The Rank Sum Test of cervical sponisis symptom between health group and sub-health group have statistic diference (P < 0.05).4. Logistic regression analysis showed that risk factors related to cervical Sub-health were : pharyngitis, high myopia, cervical vertebra injury history, sit up, damp of the environment, Living pressure, athletics, long time of reading, seat posture, the position of keyboard, the length between eyes and book, the height of pillow are risk factors, and from those risk factors, pharyngitis, high myopia, cervical vertebra injury history, sit up, damp of the environment, Living pressure have statistic diference(P < 0. 05). And there were no statistic diference between the health group and the sub-health group in factors of athletics, long time of reading, seat posture, the position of keyboard, the length between eyes and book, the height of pillow.Conclusions:1. College student have a prevalent cervical sub-health, the symptoms are concentrated on sympathetic cervical spondylosis and region cervical spondylosis, and a few students appeared as cervicalspondylotic radiculopathy, there were no cervical spondylotic myelopathy. The morbidity rate is 46. 61%.2. Pharyngitis, high myopia, cervical vertebra injury history, sit up, damp of the environment, Living pressure are risk factors and have statistic diference( P< 0. 05). |
