The Observe Of The Clinical Therapeutic Effect On The Treatment Of Psoriasis With Acitretin

Objective To assessment the clinical therapeutic effects on treatment of severe psoriasis with acitretin capsules. Methods Through collecting 75 cases patients with severe psoriasis, who lived in my dermatological department from February,2005 to September,2007,male:54cases,female:21cases.Including 60severe psoriasis vulgaris,4 erythroderma psoriaticum,7 generalized pustular psoriasis,and 4 psoriasis arthropathica. Retrospective analysis of the clinical therapeutic effects on psoriasis the treatment with acitretin capsules. Adopt the treatment with acitretin ,initial dose of acitretin was 0.4～0.5mg/kg/d. average 20mg～50mg/d ,average course was 2～8weeks ,decreased gradudally to maintain control(average 10～30mg/d),after a effective dose is reached. Results In our patients,the treatment with acitretin capsules effective rate was 82.67 %, among the total psoriasis effective rate was 83.33 % (severe psoriasis vulgaris),75% (erythroderma psoriaticum), 100 %(psoriasis pustulosa),respectively,only50 % of the psoriasis arthropathica patients with improvement, and there are dependablity among treatment dose with acitretin , course of treatment and side effects such as dryness of skin and mouth ,pruritus,cheilitis, Desquamation of plamar and plantar,and hypertriglyceridemia could be improved or obliteratel. Conclusion The treatment of sereve psoriasis with acitretin capsules revealed good clinical therapeutic effect.
