| Objective:To study the protective effects of Salidroside on brain metabolism in the hemorrhagic shock through establishing the rabbit model of hemorrhagic shock and increasing blood volume.Methods:32 rabbits were randomly divided into four groups: the sham operation group(n = 8),the rabbit model of hemorrhagic shock group(n = 8), the rabbit model of hemorrhagic shock with intravenous injection of 0.9%saline group(n = 8)and the rabbit model of hemorrhagic shock with intravenous injection of 0.9%saline and salidroside(80mg/kg)group(n = 8).2 hours after the sham operation,the hemorrhagic shock,the intravenous injection of 0.9%saline and the intravenous injection of 0.9% saline and salidroside(80mg/kg) were given to each group respectively,the succinate dehydrogenase(SDH) and ATPase contents in the brain tissue,the myeloperoxidase (MPO),malondialdehyde(MDA),nitric oxide(NO)and lactate(LD) contents in the serum and brain tissue,and the LDH level in the serum were measured carefully.Results: Compared with the sham operation group,SDH and ATPase activity in the brain tissue of the hemorrhagic shock group decreased significantly(P<0.01),but in the salidroside group,the levels of these two enzymes were higher than that in the hemorrhagic shock group and intravenous injection of 0.9%saline group(P<0.01).As to LD,it increased in the brain tissue and serum of the hemorrhagic shock group(vs.the sham operation group,P<0.01) whereas decreased in the salidroside group obviously(vs.the hemorrhagic shock group and the intravenous injection of 0.9%saline group,P<0.05). NO in the brain tissue,LDH in serum,MDA and MPO in both tissues of the hemorrhagic shock group and intravenous injection of 0.9%saline group were higher than in the hemorrhagic shock group(P<0.01),all of them lowered greatly in the salidroside group (vs.the hemorrhagic shock group and intravenous injection of 0.9%saline group,P<0.01). Conclusion:Salidroside may abviously event the metabolism disorders and the injury of brain cells from hemorrhagic shock. |
