Research On The Application Of Caché Database In Inpatient Management System

In our country, the hospital information system at early stage is mainly carried out of hospital administration. In hospital administration the volume of the date is small, the complexity of data is low, and the type of data is simple. Therefore, most of the hospital information system used relational database at that time. With the development of hospital information system in our country, clinical information systems, and hospital management information system was included. In such situation, the volume of data in hospital information system is larger and the complexity is higher. Relational database that split the data in the form of two-dimensional simply, will cause the problem of "Impedance mismatch". It is not propitious to the development of hospital information system.Cache database is called post-relational database .It designs the database in the form of object-oriented. For the reality of complex data, the way of design in the form of object-oriented is intuitionistic, and can be understood easily. It solves the problem that two-dimensional tables' relevance is over complex when the tables are too many. In the hospital, the relevance of the data is complex and the volume of the data is large. Cache database can be used perfect to solve the problems encountered by the relational database.In this paper, Cache database is used to design a significant part of hospital information system—Hospital Management System. Through the needs analysis of the hospital management, refining the design of objects, and using object-oriented approach to database design. At the mean time, for the problem of operation in interface of system about conversion of the bed and the department in the current hospital, it presents a direct mouse-drag interface design.
