Value is the core of one's spirit life and play a very important role on his/her daily life,individuals make decisions and create their lives based on their values. It not only reflects individual's preference,attitude and opinion,but influence one's choice of behavior patterns,measures and purpose,so we can see it as important individual social psychology process and character. Value is guidelines deeply rooted in people's minds,which determines individual's future actions and explain their past behaviors. Value is the reflection of one's knowledge and experience in one's mind,it is the criterion system of value choice and judgment. In daily life,it affects and even controls one's emotion,attitude,decision making and behavior. Academic motivation is a kind of internal mechanism that can activates and keeps one's attention on learning behavior,it can interact with learning behavior and make it towards certain object. Academic motivation is the direct reason and internal motivation of learning and will runs through the whole process.Researches on value of Chinese college students'are gradually increased and have good achievements recent years,but the research on value and academic motivation of medical students is not enough. Medical student is a special social group whom are very responsible to our society. In this study,we use stratified sampling method on the basis of systematic investigation on medical students in different levels and majors to analysis their values and academic motivation and make some suggestions to guiding them establish the correct values and be qualified to our society.Use values questionnaire as tools,we get the conclusions as follows:1,Students on different levels own different academic motivation and values. In learning strategy,the non-medical students were better than traditional Chinese Medicine students,students who major in medicine is not as good as other professional students. In the motivation of academic motivation,Chinese medicine profession students is lower than other professional students; in work value, non-medical students was significantly higher than that of traditional Chinese Medicine students,girls'was significantly higher than that for boys. There is no significant difference in academic motivation on born place and whether they are singleton or not.2. Personal value and work value has positive and negative correlations with motivation and strategies respectively,in a word,the frontal can predict the latter effectively. The correlation between values and motivation,learning strategy were similar,despite the students'professions were different .But the correlation of traditional Chinese medicine students'value and motivation,learning strategies was greater than non-medical students',traditional Chinese medicine students'personal value and work value could be better forecast academic motivation.3. There is obvious linear relationship between personal value and work value. Traditional Chinese Medicine students'personal value and work value can be better predict and interpret motivation and learning strategies than all students and non- medical students,non-medical students'prediction was the least. And the personal values and work values can predict and interpret motivation and learning strategies effectively. Traditional Chinese Medicine students'personal value and work value could be better predict and explain motives and learning strategies.
