Expression Of Transforming Growth Factor-βs In Psoriatic Epidermis Treatment Before And After By Ultraviolet Radiation

Objective To investigate the narrowband ultraviolet irradiation (NB-UVB) irradiation lesions in patients with psoriasis before and after the transforming growth factor-βsuperfamily (TGF-βs) and its relationship with psoriasis. Methods Expression of TGF-β1 ,TGF-β2 and TGF-β3, were determined by immunohistochemistry techniques on 27 patients with psoriasis in psoriatic lesion,non-lesional psoriatic epidermis,and post-treatment psoriatic lesion by NB-UVB. Analyzing the distributional difference of these three indexes in the different times patients of psoriasis. Results (1)All psoriasis lesions studied lacked detectable immunoreactivity of three isoforms of TGF-βs.All them were positively expressed in non-lesional psoriatic epidermis , the difference was statistically significant. (2)Expression of transforming gowth factor-βs in psoriatic epidermis treatment before and after by ultraviolet radiation was statistical significance.(3) Expression of TGF-β1 ,TGF-β2 and TGF-β3 treatment by NB-UVB in different times psoriasis, the difference was no statistical significance.(4)Expression of TGF-β1 ,TGF-β2 and TGF-β3 treatment by NB-UVB in psoriatic,TGF-β1 compared with TGF-β2 and TGF-β3 was statistical significance, but TGF-β2 compared with TGF-β3 was no statistical significance. Conclusion (1)TGF-βs might play a Significant role in keratinocyte hyperproliferation of psoriasis and might be related to escape from the negative regulation by TGF-βs。(2)Ultraviolet irradiation on the effective treatment of psoriasis.Expression of TGF-βs treatment by NB-UVB in psoriasis lesions were upregulated , NB-UVB increase intracellular ROS, which upregulate TGF-βbiosynthesis and activation of TGF-βthrough increased activity of MMPs,then inhibit abnormality keratinocyte proliferation. (3)All them were effected on psoriasis,but expression of those of both TGF-β2 and TGF-β3 is stranger than TGF-β1.Expression of TGF-βs treatment by NB-UVB in different times psoriasis was no statistical significance on therapeutic efficacy.
