| Objective:To evaluate the advantages of 64-row computed tomography subtraction CT angiography in the diagnosis of intracranial aneurysms,to evaluate the subtraction CT angiography technique in following up the patients with clipped aneurysms.Method: 120 patients who suffered from Subarachnoid hemorrhage underwent CT examination;the CTA and subtraction CT angiography techniques were used to evaluate the cerebral arteries, respectively. Two senior neurosurgieal and radiological doctors reviewed both types of the reconstructive results independently.30 consecutive patients with clipped aneurysms were studied with the aid of postoperative MSCT and DS angiographies. Two observers to assess the site of the clip and patency of the parent vessel reviewed both CT and DSA studies independently Results:By the subtraction CT angiography technique122 intracranial aneurysm were detected in l20 cases, its sensitivity, specificity and negative likelihood ratio for detecting aneurysms on CTA were both 100%,0.0000 respectively;Inter-observer agreements were 1 respectively, however the CTA technique indicated 119 lesions and 3 were missed in processus clinoideus anterior of internai carotid, its sensitivity, specificity and negative likelihood ratio were 97.5%,100%and 0.0250 respectively.Inter-observer agreements were 0.9761 respectively.Subtraction CT angiography demonstrated 2 patients with a partial remnant lesions and 28 complete. occlusion of aneurysms; Conclusion:Subtraction CT angiography technique have marked advantage in detecting the aneurysm of processus clinoideus anterior of intemai carotid.Subtraction CT angiography is an accurate noninvasive tool used for assessment of clipped aneurysms,... |
