Experimental Research Of Compatibility Of Radix Aconiti And Ramulus Cinnamomi In The Adjuvant Arthritis Rats

Objective: To investigate the effects on relieving pain,antiinflammation,fighting free radical injury of Compatibility of Radix Aconiti and Ramulus Cinnamomi in the Adjuvant Arthritis(AA) rats. We demonstrated the compatibility of the two medicine can enhance the above functions and fined out the best compatible proportion of the two medicine on each effect. Methods: SD rats were randomly divided into 7 groups:normal group, model group, polyglycosides of Tripterygium Wilfordii Hook F group, Radix Aconiti group, Ramulus Cinnamomi group, Radix Aconiti and Ramulus Cinnamomi 9:4 group, Radix Aconiti and Ramulus Cinnamomi 3:2 group, 10 rats each. Besides normal group, other rats were induced by the injection of Freund's Complete Adjuvant(FCA) 0.1ml in the right back foot pat of each rat to establish the AA model rats. We made single Radix Aconiti,Ramulus Cinnamomi and their compatible proportions of 9:4,3:2 into physic liquor, intragastric administration to treat. Then we observed the pain threshold,the swollen voix pedis'tickness and the content of nitricoxide(NO),Superoxide Dismutase(SOD),Malodialdehyde(MDA) in blood serum in AA rats with them. Results:(1)Radix Aconiti,Ramulus Cinnamomi and their different compatible proportions all have the effects of relieving pain,antiinflammation,fighting free radical injury in different times, while Radix Aconiti combined with Ramulus Cinnamomi have better effects than single drug, Radix Aconiti and Ramulus Cinnamomi 9:4 has the best effect on raising the pain threshold, Radix Aconiti and Ramulus Cinnamomi 3:2 has the best effect on relieving the swollen voix pedis'tickness. (2)Radix Aconiti,Ramulus Cinnamomi and their different compatible proportions all have the effects of decreasing the content of NO and MDA in blood serum with inflammation, while Radix Aconiti and Ramulus Cinnamomi 9:4 has the best effect in this aspect. Single Ramulus Cinnamomi has no effect in enhancing the activity of SOD in AA rats, but Single Radix Aconiti or Ramulus Cinnamomi no better than their Compatibility, Radix Aconiti and Ramulus Cinnamomi 9:4 has the best effect among the compatible groups. Conclusion: (1)Radix Aconiti combined with Ramulus Cinnamomi has obviously synergistic effects on relieving pain,antiinflammation,fighting free radical injury, expressing the science of compatibility. (2)The best compatible proportion of relieving pain,fighting free radical injury is Radix Aconiti combined with Ramulus Cinnamomi 9:4; The best compatible proportion of antiinflammatory is Radix Aconiti combined with Ramulus Cinnamomi 3:2.
