| ObjectiveTo study the inflammatory reaction of rats after acute liver injury by High Intensive Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) and the protection effect of ulinastatin.MethodsA total of 24 wistar rats were randomly divided into simple HIFU liver injury group(group H), ulinastatin-treated group(group UTI) and control group(group D). Rats in group H and group UTI were put on the HIFU device and treated with power of 280W/cm~2 on liver. By using the method of ELISA, the serum contents of IL-2, IL-10, and TNF-αwere determined at 1,3,6,12, and 24h after acute liver injury by High Intensive Focused Ultrasound.ResultsCompared with group D, In group H, the levels of serum IL-2 and TNF-αwere significantly higher at 3h and reached the peak at 6 and 12h after acute liver injury by High Intensive Focused Ultrasound. In group UTI, the levels of serum IL-2 and TNF-a were significantly lower than those in group H at the same time points (P <0.01) and return to normal level at 24h.The levels of serum IL-10 in group UTI were significantly higher than those in group H (P <0.01) .ConclusionAfter acute liver injury by High Intensive Focused Ultrasound, obviously inflammatory reaction was observed on rats. UTI can decrease the production of inflammatory factors and up regulate the serum levels of anti- Inflammatory factor, retard the development and progression of acute inflammatory reaction after acute liver injury induced by High Intensive Focused Ultrasound. |
