Studies On Water Soluble Chemical Constituents In The Hedyotis Diffusa Wild

Hedyotis diffusa Willd was recorded in Guangxi Chinese herbal medicine ambition,the whole grass of annual Hedyotis diffusa Willd of Rubiaceae section,widely distributes in our country Yangtze valley and its south of.According to the reference,many compounds were isolated and identified as so far.There are many kinds of compounds in this herb,such as Terpene, Flavonoids, diolefine,,organic acid and so on.It mainly contains hentriacontane,stigmasterine,β-sitosterol,D-glucoside, oleanolic acid,ursolic acid,ferulic acid,polysaccharide and so on.It fulfills the functions of detoxification and damp elimination.It shows great effects on the treatments of urinary tract infection,sore throat,bacillary dysentery,snakebite,some cancers and so on.This paper is mainly about the isolations and identification of the compounds from Hedyotis diffusa Willd.The results as follow: we used Macroporous resin,Silica gel column as the separation means,and seven compounds were obtained from this herb.Among of them,five compounds'structures were established and identified on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidence.They areβ-sitosterol,deacetyl asperuloside acid,D- mannitol,p-Coumaric Acid,asperuloside.
