| Since the severe disease, Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome, was discovered, scholars have done many researches to control and reduce the disease. In 1978, Li GW et al. isolated Hantaan virus. In 1981, Chinese researchers discovered and isolated Seoul virus which is spreaded via Rattus norvegicus, and began to develop inactivated vaccine (first generation vaccine). After significant technology improvement, second generation vaccine, especially purified Vero cell vaccine has several advantages compared to primary cell culture vaccine and purified neonatal mouse vaccine, as follows:â‘ employ modern concentration and purification process, remove cells and other impurities as far as possible, and reduce the side effect due to vaccination at maximum;â‘¡control effective antigen content to ensure sufficient immune response;â‘¢Vero cells proliferate fast and are easy to culture, with the production and quality control easier. The major subject of this paper is the strain stability of Bivalent Purified Inactivated Vaccine Against Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome (Vero Cell). We employ enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and plaque reduction neutralization test (PRNT) to determine antigen content and valence of the vaccine under various conditions. The result shows that the vaccine has excellent stability. The research result will help to improve product quality and ensure medication safety. |
