Research On The Safeguard Of Women's Healthy Rights And Interests During The NCMS Implementation

This article, based on the practice of New Cooperative Medical System (NCMS) in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Zhongning County, analyzes the gender inequality from the view of gender which involved in the process of NCMS designing and implementation.The main body elaborates the present situation and the influence factor of woman's right to know, the decision-making power and right to use the healthy resources in NCMS areas, points out that gender insensitive among NCMS implementation result in some adverse effects for the healthy rights and interests of rural women which manifests in below: (1) little rural women acquaint in NCMS and know limited; (2) the decision-making in most countryside family are"the husband dominant mode", women infrequently participating in family decision; (3) with lower health status, rural women are inferior in using medical service.Finally, the author puts forward that NCMS should strengthen gender sensitivity, and the government should take the positive measures to promote the rural women benefiting from NCMS equally.
