Experimental Study And Clinical Application Of Nano-filler Composite Resin With 3M Filtek Supreme XT

As a new filling material, composite resin has been widely used on clinic. Compared to traditional composite resin, the composite nanomete filling material has more natural color and luster, more power of felt. As a latest multi color composite resin, 3M Filtek Supreme XT ,can nicely meet human beings looking demand. So it has extending and wide spread meaning. We do researches as following: Experimental researchPart I Three dental filling materials(3M Filtek Supreme XT,Venus and ceramX) were selected to compare the surface roughness. The surface of the specimens were sequentially polished with polishing bur at 0.5min,1.0min,1.5min,2.0min,2.5min,3.0min,3.5min,4.0min,then the surface of each sample was evacuated quantitatively. Result: The degree of surface roughness varied among the dental filling materials that were Venus>CeramX Mono>3M Filtek Supreme XT(P<0.01)。The 3M Filtek Supreme XT has the best slick and less roughness than the other filling materials tested.Part II To detect the margin sealing ability of 3M Filtek Supreme XT,Venus and CeramX Mono by techniques of dye penetration. Results: 3M Filtek Supreme XT showed the minimum microleakage against enamel and dentine/cement as the other filling materials tested. (P<0.05) There was no significant difference between the others(P>0.05). Clinical experimentAccording as the USPHS standard, we evaluate the effect of 3M Filtek Supreme XT to repair class III orⅣclinic during half year. Re-check 40 class III orⅣof former teeth, take the evaluation after one month as basic line. The sufferers think 87.5 percent repaired parts have no distinguish color with basic teeth. No difference between the basic line and the half year ago data basic line on statistics.
