Objective:Many studies have demonstrated that different suture material influence wound healing in tracheal surgery. The objective of our study was to compare the effect of different suture material on end-to-end anastomosis in rabbit tracheal surgery. Offer reliable parameter to clinical surgery working. Methods: 36 rabbits were used experiment , which were observed divided into silk group, dacron group and artificial absorbable suture group. The rabbits sacrificed to observe the following index after 1, 2, 4 weeks post operation: absorbable degree of different sutures, pathological examination(HE dyeing) ,TGF-β1 level around the sutures. Results: (1) There were no difference on the aspect of wound healing between three groups after 1 weeks and 2 weeks; the artificial absorbable suture group were absorbed after 4 weeks, but the other two groups formed granuloma .(2) There were no difference on the change rate of the anastomosis diameters between three groups after 1 weeks and 2 weeks(P>0.05);after 4 weeks, the change rate of the artificial absorbable suture group was higher than the other two groups . (3)Pathological had found that there were no significant different mounts of inflammation cells between the three groups after 1 weeks and 2 weeks(P>0.05); but after 4 weeks , the infiltrate degree of the inflammation in the artificial absorbable suture group was not so many as the silk group and the dacron group(P<0.05). TGF-β1 level were no different after 1 weeks and 2 weeks between three groups (P>0.05), but after 4 week, the expression of TGF -β1 was degraded significantly in absorbable suture group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The present data suggest that artificial absorbable suture was absorbable than the others two suture material, and it afford excellent characteristics on the aspect of inflammation reactions and histocompatibility which suggested the better wound outcomes(P>0.05). |
