| Objective:Qing Kaitong enema is based on the theoretics of brain-intestinal connection and the theory of qingkai and tongfu.Through observeing the antifebrile effect and the accom of brain-gut peptide(VIP)and IL-2 in bacterial fever to approach the antifebrile effect and possible mechanism by qingkai and tongfu treating bacterial fever.And carrying out the acute toxicity test of Qing Kaitong enema.Methods:To made the rabbit model of bacterial fever using E. coli. endotoxin,and treat them with Qing Kaitong enema by coloclysising to compare with Qing Kailing.Then observing its antifebrile effects and influences to brain-gut peptide(VIP)and cytokine(IL-2) in brain,intestine and peripheral blood.Results:The zoic temperature of Qing Kailing and Qing Kaitong groups degrade obviously compare with the model(P<0.01),but there is no significant deviation between two groups(P>0.05). The contents of VIP and IL-2 in brain,intestine and peripheral blood cut down obviously(P<0.01).Especially Qing Kaitong group is more lower than Qing Kailing. There is significant deviation between two groups(P<0.05).And the acute toxicity test indicates there is no obvious adverse reaction.Conclusion:Qing Kaitong enema produce a marked effect, which treats bacterial fever and accommodates brain-gut peptide and IL-2. The effect of qingkai and tongfu is better than either of methods alone in pyretolysis and immunoregulation.It is possible one of mechanisms to treat febrile illness by qingkai and tongfu,which regulates febrile neurogen, inflamed neurogen and immune factor. |
