Objective: To evaluate the value of MSCT in showing coronary artery anatomy structure and stenosis degree; To evaluate the correlation of coronary atery calcium score and plaque to ACS and heart function. Methods:104 patients underwent scanning of MSCTA(78 patients with acute artery syndrome and 26 patients not),the results of 44 patients were compared by coronary angiography(CAG).Results: It's proved that the MSCT is feasible for coronary imaging.Compared with coronary angiography, the sensitivity, specificity, and positive and negative predictive value of MSCT for detecting significant plaque was 80.65%,96.04%,75.76%and 97.00%,respectively in coronary arteries with≥50% stenosis, there were no temporal changes in coronary angiography or MSCT; The coronary stenosis degree has straight line correlation with heart function (r=0.860);The quantitative of plaque has straight line correlation with heart function (r=0.883);The fatty plaque has correlation with ACS(P<0.05);but calcified and fibre plaque has no close correlation with ACS(P>0.05).Conclusion:As a noninvasive technique,MSCT is considered suitable for the evaluation of coronary artery dissection structure and stenosis, quantitative and qualitative assessment of plaque. It's a valuable follow-up tool for patients who have undergone interventional or surgical therapeutic procedures.
