Objective: 1: To determine the expression of peripheral-blood survivin ofmetastatic breast cancer pations.2: To determine the coincidence of expression of survivin inperipheral-blood and history.3: To study the relationship between expression of survivin andprognosis in breast cancer pations. Methods: 1: Expression of peripheral-blood survivin was semi-quantitieddetermined by the methods of RT-PCR2: Expression of peripheral-blood survivin was quantitied determined bythe methods of quantitied PCR3: Expression of history survivin was determined by the methods of andimmunohistochemistry.4: To analysis the clinical characters of 10 breast cancer pations: sexuality, age, pathaology, clinical stage, respond rate.5: data processingResults: 1: The positive ratio of the expression of survivin is 3/10.The expressiondetected by immunohistochemical examination coincided with theirmRNA expression. 2: The ratio of PR is 4/10 in clinical respond rate. And the ratio of PD is6/103: The expression of survivin in all pations of clinical respond rate ofPR is negative.4: Before chemotherapy the mean of survivin of negative pations is lowerthan that of positive pations.5: After chemotherapy the mean of discresing survivin of negative pationsis higher than that of positive pations. Conclusions: The results suggest that there are some relationship between theexpression of peripheral-blood survivin and prognosis in breastcancer pations and survivin maybe as an important index inevaluation of prognosis of breast cancer.
