| Objective: To study the influence of Dragon blood on DM mices inducedby alloxon monohydrate, find out the changes of Glucosemetabolization, HK activity,MDH activity and SDH activity, andfurther the research of Dragon blood for DM curing.Methods: To divide animals into six groups: normal, model, threedoses of Dragon blood treatment as 125mg/kg,250mg/kg and 500mg/kgrespectively and Metformin treatment group. All the treatmentsgroups take drugs by theway of filling stomach. Study the changesof blood glucose, HK activity in muscle tissue and MDH, SDH activityin liver tissue in the six groups.Results: Compared with the model group, the blood glucose decreaseswhen the dose of Dragon blood is 125mg/kg, and it obviously decreaseswhen thedoses are 250mg/kg, 500mg/kg(P<0.05);With the increasingof the doses of Dragon blood, glucose tolerance enhanced, and the doses of 500mg/kg and Metformin treatment groups obviouslyenhanced(P<0.05); HK activity in muscle increases obviously when thedose of Dragon blood is 250mg/kg(P<0.05); And it increasesextrodinaryly as the doses are 500mg/kg(P<0.001). MDH activity inliver tissue increases obviously as the dose is just 250mg/kg(p<0.05),and so on SDH activity(P<0.01).According to theanalysisof relationship: there is a negativecorrelation between thelevel of blood glucose and HK, MDH and SDH activities.Conclusions:One of the possible mechanisms of the Dragon blood fordecreasing blood glucose is that it enhances the activities ofenzymes directly or indirectly. Dragon blood has the resistingeffects on the loss of weight of DM patients. |
