| Objective: To observe the influences of Sleep Deprivation(SD) and antioxidant intervention on the expressions of IRE1 and XBP1 in the cortex and hippocampus regions. Method: on different brain regions. To make rat model for SD of difference duration. One hundred SD rats were distributed randomly into cage control group, tank control and sleep deprivation group. The SD group was subdivided into two groups, one was injected drug, anther was not injected any drug. Each group includes 1d,3d,5d,7d and sleep recovery 6h,12h stages. To detect the expressions of IRE1 and XBP1 by RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry. Results: results shored that the time of sleep deprivation is increased proportionally to the increase in the expression of IPE1 and XBP1, and they reached the highest on the third and fifth day; The number of positive cell of IRE1 and XBP1 increased in the cortex and hippocampus regions; a—LA can reduce brain injury caused by sleep deprivation. Conclusion: RFM sleep deprivation increase the expression of IRE1 and XBP1 in the rat brain, it might be a kind of self-protection mechanism of the endoplasmic reticulum, a—LA can improve injury caused by sleep-deprivation, in a way. |
