Object: To research mechanism of Lingqi capsules action in field of inhibiting the growth of the tumor. To provide the experiment basis that we can deeply research antitumor herbs and the development of the new herbs.Method: We can research the role of Lingqi capsule limiting the growth process of a lot of new vessels in A549 tumor and H22 tumor in the research project.1. Effect of Lingqi capsules on angiogenesis enhancing factor such as vessel endothelium growth factors (VEGF) synthesized by A549 cells with mRNA Gene.(1)To separate and purify blood serum controlled by the herbs in the method of serous pharmacology.(2)To detect effects of Lingqi capsule on VEGF mRNA gene expression of A549 cells with RT-PCR technology.2. Effect of Lingqi capsule on MMPs cell factor of internal body by H22 cells.(1) To calculate the radio of inhibition, the index of thymus andthe index of spleen in physical inoculation experiments.(2)To investigate the contents of matrix metalloproteinase-2 oftumor tissues in the method of immune histochemistry stain.(3) To detect the contents of matrix metalloproteinase-9 of tumortissues in the method of immune histochemistry stain.Results: 1. Lingqi capsule can inhibit mRNA expression of vesselendothelial cell of A549 cells with obvious dose-effectrelationship.2. By the technology of immune histochemistry stain and graphical analysis, Lingqi capsule can inhibit protein expression of matrix metalloproteinase-2 in H22 physical inoculation experiments.3. By the technology of immune histochemistry stain and graphical analysis, Lingqi capsule can inhibit protein expression of matrix metalloproteinase-9 in H22 physical inoculation experiments.Conclusion: 1. Lingqi capsule can inhibit A549 cells multiplication; further inhibit the growths of the tumor with dose-effect and time-effect relationship.2. It indicated that Lingqi capsule can inhibit both H22 tumor cells mass and the protein expression of matrix metalloproteinase-2, which may have dual effect on antineoplastic action.3. It indicated that Lingqi capsule can inhibit both H22 tumor cells mass and the protein expression of matrix metalloproteinase-9, which may have dual effect on antineoplastic action.
