Objective: To evaluate the diagnosis and clinical results on acetabularfracture with hip dislocation (or combined with primary sciatic nerveinjury)treated by kocher-largenbeck approach. To explore its indication'schoices. Methods: According to applied open operation for Acetabularfracture, the causes and nature of injury, and letournel Classification.Kocker- Langenbeck approach and internal fixation were adoptecl in 26cases on Acetabular fracture with hip dislocation (including primarysciatic nerve injury in 2cases)Results: According to post-operation X-ray stand cords, in 26 cases, openoperative reduction were achieved in 23 cases, satisfactory reduction 2cases, unsatisfactory 1 case, The post operative function state of the 26cases was evaluated according to Matta, follow up time averaged 2.5years, the results were: excellent,11(42.3%); Good 9(34.6%) Fair4(15.44%); poor 2(7.7%).Conclusion: Accurate classification of fracture can be achieved with theaids of Judet plain radiographs and CT scan. A stable hip Joint and thecongruence of the head and acetabulum could be reconstructed byeffective proer open reduction that is achieved by mastering operationindications strictly.
