Leptin In Simple Obesity Children And Research On Its Clinical Significance In Simple Obesity Children

Purpose:To investigate the level of leptin in order to investigate its clinical significance in simple obesity children and the correlation with BMI and waist circumference,et al。Material and Methods: We random selected 36 simple obesity children,their mean age is 11.16±2.00;36 beyond normal weight children,their mean age Is 10.68±1.87;36 normal weight children,whose mean age is 11.16±1.82.Serum leptin is measured by chemical light immune aleptinssay in simple obesity children and children beyond normal weight and normal weight children,height, weight and waist circumference were measured by particular men.Statistics Analyse:Body mass Index is calculated by formular BMI=Weight/height(kg/m~2).Leptin concentration and height and weight,et al are analysed respectively.Correlation are analysed between leptin and other factors such as BMI,weight.Results:weight,WC and the level of serum leptin in obese group are higher than childen beyond normal weight group and normal weight children,weight,WC and the level of serum leptin in childen beyond normal Weight group are higher than normal weight children.(all P＜0.05).The relationship between leptin and weight,WC,BMI is all higher correlation.Conclusion:Simple obesity children have higher serum leptin and have leptin resistance(LR);LR likely play an important act in appearance and development of obesity.Children beyond normal weight should also be cared about more.
