OBJECTIVE To observe the influence of TMP(retramethylpyrazine,Ligustrazine) on spinal cord injury microcirculationof rats.METHOD 50 healthy Sprague Dawley rats made into SCImodels by inproved Allen's method were divided into two groups:retramethylpyrazine group (n=25) and normal saline group (n=25).Andthere was five rats in black group.Rats in the TMP group wereintraperitoneal injected TMP 200mg/kg~*d. Rats in the normal salinegroup were intraperitoneal injected 0.9% sodium chlorine in the samedose like TMP group's.Rats in the black group were fed normally in thesame conditiong without pharmaceuticak interveve and operation.Thelevel of ET was observed on rats in different groups in first day.,the thirdday, the seventh day,the forteenth day and the twenty-firstday.Moreover,the hemorheological outcome, the spinal cord nervefunctional test by inproved Rivin tiltboard test and BBB test wereobserved on different group in above time points.RESULT There is maeked difference of ET level andhemorheological outcome between TMP group and normal saline groupon first day.,the third day,the seventh day,the forteenth day and thetwenty-first day.CONCLUSION There is closed relationship between SCI andET. TMP has a definite effect on acute spinal cord injury.
