Two different methods of Thiobarbituric(TBA) acid and Southern-blot were used to determine the content of MDA and the length of telomere.Result: Compared with normal control, the content of MDA in liver of rat with spleen Yin deficiency syndrome was increased and the length of telomere was shortened. Conclusion: In the state of spleen Yin deficiency syndrome, its peroxidatic reaction was strengthen, and the DNA was attacked by the accumulation of free radical and those factors may result in shortening of the telomere. The experiment showed that the shortening of telomere was one of the pathomechanism of spleen Yin deficiency syndrome. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Spleen Yin deficiency syndrome, Free radical, Malondialdehyde, Telomere | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
