Objective Through using functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI) technique and international affection picture system visual stimulus modality to compare with the different brain transactivation domain in normal volunteer under different emotional valence ,to explore the neural basis of different emotional valence emotional processing in normal subjects in order to provide the reference basis for the depression brain function research firstly; second, with comparing with the different brain transactivation domain in normal subjects and depression patients in happy and sad two kind of mood, to explore the emotion processing iter in depressed patients under different emotional valence and explore the psychopathology of affective disorder in depression patients.Materals and Methods 27 normal subjects and 19 depression patients were studied by conventional and functional magnetic resonance imaging. fMRI Experiment included two task, The first one: normal subjects and depressive patients were stimulated by happy and neutral facial pictures overlapped. The second one: normal subjects and depressive patients were stimulated by sad and neutral facial pictures overlapped. Normal subjects and depression patients underwent noninvasive functional magnetic resonance imaging while looking at the pictures. fMRI data were analyzed by using statistical parametric mapping(SPM2) software. One-sample t-tests were used to perform group analysis. Two-sample t-tests were used to perform intergroup contrast. Negative emotion processing need recruit more brain region.2.The nervous basis of different valence emotional processing has partial overlapping; But the emotion nervous pathway different emotional valence has relative independentability.3.Prefrontal cortex and limbic lobe play an important effect in emotional processing and participate in the different kinds of emotional processing. Emotional processing of brain has the lateralization. Positive emotion is relation to left prefrontal lobe. Negative emotion is relation to right prefrontal lobe.4.The psychopathology of affective disorder in depression patients is that the function of neural basis is abnormal, including cerebral cortex and subcortex region.5.the brain transactivation domain of happy in depression patients degrade; the brain transactivation domain of sad increase ,So depression patients are bias to the negativity emotional processing.6.The neural basis of anhedia in depression patients is that the function of left prefrontal lobe degrade; The neural basis of emotional drawdown is that the function of right prefrontal lobe increase. |
