| Castanea Mollissima Blume (chestnut) , a plant of Fagaccac. It can be used asthe Chinese medicine with high biological effect, including ite's flower root shell, etc.This research has studied the extraction of brown pigment from chestnut shells and chemical components of chestnut shell.The smashing extraction method was first applied during the extraction of brown pigment from chestnut shell. Fast extraction speed, no heat, be economical of time, solvent and energy, and have high yield of ursolic acid can be obtained as compared with normal method. The optimum processing conditions were as followed, the mass ratio of solid and solvent was 1:10, the solvent was ethanol solution with the concentration of 30%, and the chestnut shell was extracted 10min, twice.In order to find the bioactive principles we made a study of the constituents as bellow. The 95%EtOH extracts of Castanca Mollissima shell was partitioned following Petroleum ether (60-90℃) , chloroform, Ethyl acetate and n-Butanol solvents. Purification of them was accomplished by column chromatograph, TLC and recrystallization. To date, forteen compounds have been isolated from the extracts. Eight of them were determined by 1HNMR, 13CNMR&DEPT, HMQC, COSY of 2D NMR datas.They areβ-sitosterol (I),β-daucosterol(II), salicylic acid (III), 3,4-dihydtoxy benzoic acid (IV), forsythiaside (V), rutin(VI), gallic acid(VII), association compound of gallic acid and lactic acid (the ratio of molecule is 2:1) (VIII). Compound VI and VIII were first isolated from the Castanca Mollissima, and all these substances were first isolated from the Castanea Mollissima shell. |
