Objective: To discuss the curative effects of applying the combination of acupuncture and cerebral ultrasonic therapy apparatus to the treatment of motor dysfunction caused by cerebral infarction in the course of convalescence with the aim of preventing complications, lessening sequela thereof, making the remaining organic function surviving hemiplegia into full play and thus improving their living standards.Method: The thesis adopts the method of choosing sixty cases of suffers of motor dysfunction caused by cerebral infarction in the course of convalescence and classifying the sixty cases into groups of acupuncture treatment and the combination treatment of acupuncture and cerebral ultrasonic therapy apparatus at random. The evaluation of clinical treatment effect shall be given based on the observation of the assessment result of simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function both before and after the treatment, neutral function-defect assessment result and the evaluation of the activities of daily living in each group.Result: The marked difference in statistics shows the combination treatment group is superior in effectiveness to acupuncture group in terms. Conclusion: The treatment methods of both acupuncture and the combination treatment of acupuncture and cerebral ultrasonic therapy apparatus prove to be effective in improving motor function impairment of patients of cerebral infarction in the course of recovery, lessening neutral function-defection and bettering patients' daily living capabilities. Therefore, the living standards of patients of cerebral infarction can be improved.
