| Aim:To study the frequent attack season, inducement, clinical features of Henoch-Schonlein purpura. Also we want to analyze the impact of age on the severity and prognosis of this disease for providing reference to clinical work. Methods: The patients were admitted into our hospital as Henoch-Schonlein purpura from March of 2003 to February of 2007. All 60 patients are divided into two groups by the age, impuberism and adult group. We record all the patients' attack season, attack inducement, first symptom, whole body symptom, laboratory blood test, relapse etc. Then we use some statistical methods to see if they have statistical difference between two groups. Results: The major attack season is winter and spring, and the major inducement is catarrhal rhinitis. They have statistical difference between two groups. But there is no statistical difference of first symptom, whole body symptom, laboratory blood test or relapse. Conclusion: Henoch-Schonlein purpura has its frequent attack season and its major inducement is catarrhal rhinitis. The first syndrome is erythra customarily, but sometimes abdomen or arthrosis pain. The mixed pattern is very common especially complicating lesion of nephros. There is no statistical difference of first symptom, whole body symptom, laboratory blood test or relapse between impuberism and adult group. |
