The Bone Metabolism Study Of Premature Ovarian Failure

Objective: To study bone minernal of patients with Premature Ovarian Failure(POF); to investigate the effection of estrogen on the bone metabolism of patients with POF. These findings offer necessary experimental data for preventing and treating patients with osteporosis.Methods: There were 58 patients with POF in POF group;there were 60 patients of postmenopausal with similar aging of POFgroup in NM group,meanwhile there were 80 health women asking for examining body in control group. Measure bone mineral density(BMD) ,serumCa , serum P,BGP and alkaline phosphatase(ALP),SBAPin three groups. Follicle count was compared among these three groups and analysed by SPSS 10.0.Results: 1.Comparing BMD of patients with different amenorrhea peoriod in POF group , or in NM group .There was significant difference of NECK-BMD(P<0. 05). 2. There was significant difference of NECK-BMD and L2-4-BMD in NM group with longer amenorrhea peoriod. 3. Comparing BMD of different location with POF/NM and normal groups. There was significant difference of NECK, WARDS-BMD between POFand normal groups (P<0. 05). 4. There was significant difference of E2 between POFand NM group. 5. There was significant difference of serum SBAP ALP and BGP among three groups.
