Objective: To research the distributed and epidemiological features of AD, To analyze their daily life quality situation as well as the possible dangerous and protective factors in community charity agencies in the cities and countries of Nanchang and Jiujiang distract, To offer scientific reference for developing senile cares for and perfecting healthy service system for the community old groups. Methods: Stratified sampling was performed to determine the investigated objects. MMSE, WHOQOL-BREF and ADL were used as evaluating tools, associating the medical history, clinic behaviour and the trace elements. 100 AD patients were selected for 1:1(paring conditions: age,sex,education degree) case control study, using Conditional Logistic Regression analysis. Results:73. 90% had all kinds of chronic disease among these investigated 4236 seniles who were above 60 years old in 14 charity agencies of the city and country in Nanchang and Jiujiang, occupying the first 5 status were: hypertension 29.06%, chronic bronchitis11.76%, AD9. 02%, apoplexy7. 6%, cardiovascular disease4. 68%; Among these 476 senile dementias, the prevalence of AD, VD, MD was 9.02%,1.58%,0.64% respectively, the proportion of which occupied 80. 25% 14. 08% 5. 67% separately. Among these AD patients, severe, medium and light type occupied 47. 64%, 24. 35%, 28. 01% respectively.
