| Objective: The aim of this study is to explore the similarities and differencesbetween the neurophysiologies of Parkinson's tremor and essentialtremor from the angles of their frequencies, magnitudes, patterns ofactivation and spectral coherences of bilateral hands' tremor. Methods: Ten-Channel Electromyography and Tremor Analyze Software wereused to collect the neurophysiologic parameters of postural andresting tremor of Parkinson's tremor and postural tremor of essentialtremor. Neurophysiologic parameters of them were compared to findwhether the statistical differences and correlations of theirfrequencies and magnitudes, the statistical differences of proportionsof their activation patterns, and the linear dependences of spectral ofbilateral hands' tremor, among these three types of tremors wereexisted. Results: The frequencies of these three types of tremor exists statistical differences (P<0.01) , but not their magnitudes (P>0.05) . The frequencies and magnitudes of them do not exist correlations (P>0.05), while the proportion of the activation patterns exists statistical differences (P<0.01) . The spectral of bilateral hands' tremors do not have linear dependences. Conclusion: Neurophysiologic data demonstrate that there are more similarities... |
