With the development of modern industry, diatomaceous earth has been widely applied on chemical industry, medicine and food industry as absorbent, filtered agent, adiabator and flame-proofing material. At present, some industry systems have already started to sample and process diatomaceous earth during which a large number of dust and respiratory dust have been created. it could lead to lung fibration which would produce bad influence to workers'health. Objectivewe only have limited occupational contact value of total diatomaceous earth dust not respiratory dust in our country, (GBZ2– 2002) "Operational Site Harm Factor Occupation Contact Limiting Value" .
