Objective: To investigate the expression of p14ARF, MDM2 and p53 proteins and their relationship in endometrioid adenocarcinoma, we expect that the study will help us to elucidate the carcinogenetic mechanism of endometrioid adenocarcinoma and provide theoretic foundation for the diagnosis and genic therapy. Methods: The expression of p14ARF, MDM2 and p53 proteins in 15 cases of normal endometrium and 18 cases of endometrial hyperplasia lesions and 43 cases endometrioid adenocarcinoma were detected with the S-P immunohistochemical method. Results: (1)The p14ARF protein expression of normal endometrium, endometrial hyperplasia and endometrioid adenocarcinoma tissues are 93.3%, 83.3%, 55. 8%, respectively. In endometrioid adenocarcinoma tissues, the positive rates of p14ARF protein expression were significantly lower than that of endometrial hyperplasia and normal endometrium tissues (P<0.05),but there was no difference in expression rates of p14ARF in atypical hyperplasia and endometrioid adenocarcinoma(P>0. 05). In endometrioid adenocarcinoma, the expression of p14ARF protein correlated with histoiogical grade(P <0. 05) , the expression rates in adenocarcinoma with histoiogical G3 and G2 were lower than those in adenocarcinoma with histoiogical G1(P <0. 05), but was not associated with other clinical pathology parameters (P>0.05).(2) The MDM2 protein expression of normal endometrium, endometrial hyperplasia and endometrioid adenocarcinoma tissues are 0,33.3%,...
